How much does an attic clean out cost?
Most attic clean outs use two helpers at $149/hr with a 2-hour minimum, plus $1 per round-trip mile from Aurora. Attics usually hold boxes and lighter items, which the crew carries to your dumpster or the curb. Photos of the attic and the hatch help Rocket Services give a free quote.
Can your helpers get furniture down from an attic with a pull-down ladder?
Often, yes. If a piece went up through the hatch, it can usually come down the same way with two people. Very large items may need to be taken apart. Share the hatch size when you book so the crew can plan.
Does Rocket Services remove attic insulation?
No. Insulation removal, pest cleanup and anything that may contain asbestos are outside the scope of a clean out. Call to confirm the scope if you are unsure. The crew clears stored belongings and leaves the insulation in place.
When is the right time of day to clean out an attic in summer?
Early morning is the safest time, since attics heat up quickly on Colorado summer afternoons. Crews work from 7am, so ask for an early start when you book. Longer jobs may be split into cooler sessions.
