Checks are not accepted. Plan on one of these methods for both the deposit and the final bill. The same methods work for adding a tip to the bill at the end of the job.

Tipping Policy

Deposits and Holds

A website booking is a request, and an email confirmation follows. After confirmation, the Service Agreement is sent for signature. The deposit is invoiced once the agreement is signed and is due 72 hours before the service date. For hourly services, it covers the minimum booked time, which depends on the service and the number of helpers, plus any supplies, rentals, the truck fee and estimated mileage. For flat fees, packages and bundles, it is the full price plus any supplies or rentals.

A hold authorization is placed before the move, and the final amount is billed on completion. For junk removal, the card is charged the actual amount on-site.

How Hourly Billing Works

Billing starts on arrival at the first location and stops after unloading at the final location. Hourly services have a minimum that depends on the service and the number of helpers, then time is prorated in 15-minute increments.

Billing covers the full reserved time block. For reservations over the minimum, up to one hour of unused time is refunded.

Refunds and Cancellations

Payments for rendered services are non-refundable. Cancellation charges depend on notice:

• 48+ hours: $25 or 3% of the booking, whichever is greater (a processing fee; no other charge)
• 24 to 48 hours: 2 hours at the booked rate, or 50% of the flat fee
• Under 24 hours: charged in full

Other Charges

• A one-time truck fee for Movers & Truck
• Stairs: $20 per flight after the first
• Pianos and safes up to 400 lb: +$175 during a move, plus $75 per flight of stairs at each location
• Mileage: $1.49 per mile after the first 15 round-trip miles (25 mi are included on flat fees and packages)
• Tolls and paid parking: only when requested, at cost plus a $2 processing fee per toll
• Same-day moves: $79, subject to availability
• No-show fee: $75 if no one is at the location when the crew arrives
• After-hours and overtime: +20% on the hourly rate before 7 AM, after 7 PM, or past the crew's 8-hour day

Discounts and Credits

• Military, first responder and senior: 5% off hourly moving and labor (Movers & Truck, Hourly Helpers and packing). Show ID at booking or on the job.
• Referral credit: $25 off the next job when a referred customer's job is completed.

No discounts apply to flat fees, packages, supplies, rentals or pass-through fees. Total discounts on one job can't exceed 15%.
