U-Haul Loading Help Aurora: How Many Helpers Do I Need?
Pick your crew by home size, stairs and heavy items. Rates are hourly with a 2-hour minimum, so you pay for the time the crew works.
Most studio to 2-bedroom homes need 2 helpers ($149/hr) for about 2 to 4 hours. A 3-bedroom usually needs 3 helpers ($199/hr) for 4 to 6 hours, and a 4-bedroom or larger needs 4 helpers ($269/hr) for 5 to 8 hours. Add a helper for several flights of stairs or items over 300 lb.

Still not sure? Ask us.
Tell us about the job and the office will suggest the right service and crew. A person reads every request.
Does a bigger crew cost more in total?
Not always. A bigger crew costs more per hour but usually finishes sooner, so the total can stay close. The office suggests a crew size when you book.
What adds time to a U-Haul load?
Stairs, long walks from the door to the truck, boxes that are not packed yet and furniture that still needs taking apart. Stairs are $20 per flight after the first.
What size truck should I rent?
Studio: a 10 ft truck or a small container. 1-bedroom: 10 to 15 ft. 2-bedroom: 15 to 20 ft. 3-bedroom: 20 to 26 ft. 4-bedroom or more: a 26 ft truck, or a truck plus a trailer or container.
How is mileage charged?
$1 per round-trip mile from our Aurora base (80017) to your address and back. The hourly clock starts when the crew arrives.
