How much does it cost to clean out a cluttered backyard?
Backyard clean outs are billed by the hour. Two helpers are $149/hr with a 2-hour minimum, plus $1 per round-trip mile from Aurora. Photos of the yard help Rocket Services give a free quote with a clearer range of hours.
Will your helpers carry branches and yard waste to my dumpster?
Yes. The crew carries branches, leaves, shrub trimmings and old sod to your dumpster or the curb, along with outdoor furniture and household items. Bagging leaves and cutting long limbs into manageable lengths helps the crew work faster. Dirt, rock and concrete in large amounts should be described when you call so the crew can plan for the weight, and check that your dumpster rental accepts them.
Can Rocket Services move an old grill out of my backyard?
Yes, the crew can carry a grill to your dumpster or the curb once the propane tank is removed, since tanks, empty or full, are not handled. Charcoal grills should be emptied of ash. If the grill is built into a masonry island, that teardown is outside the scope of a clean out.
Do I need to be home for a backyard clean out?
Not always. If items are clearly labeled for removal and the gate is unlocked, the crew can work without you there. For bigger yards, being present for the first walkthrough helps avoid mix-ups about which planters, pavers or tools should stay. Payment is still handled through the card authorization placed at booking.
