How much does a church clean out cost?
Church clean outs are billed hourly, from $99/hr for one helper or $149/hr for two, with a 2-hour minimum. A single storage room often needs fewer hours than a fellowship hall. Stairs to basements or lofts add $20 per flight after the first.
Can Rocket Services remove old church pews?
Freestanding pews and benches can be carried out to your dumpster or the curb. Pews that are bolted to the floor need to be detached first, so call to confirm the scope before booking. Pews in good condition can be set aside for the church to donate.
Can items from a church clean out go to charity?
Yes. Clean, usable furniture, books and household goods are set aside in one spot so the congregation can donate them. Rocket Services does not run donation drop-offs, so plan for a volunteer or the charity to pick them up.
What day works for a church clean out?
Weekdays are common since the building is quieter between services, but any day can be requested, subject to availability. Booking two to four weeks ahead gives more choice. Crews typically work up to 8 hours or until 7 PM.
