How much does it cost to have a spin bike assembled at home?
Rocket Services charges $99/hr for one technician with a one-hour minimum. Most spin bikes, including connected models with screens, are built within about that time. Mileage is $1 per round-trip mile from Aurora. App pairing and account setup are handled by the owner.
Can a recumbent bike be assembled upstairs?
Yes. The crew carries the box to the room and builds it there. The first flight of stairs is included and each additional flight adds $20. Recumbent bikes are longer than upright bikes, so measure stair turns if the staircase is tight.
What goes wrong when people assemble exercise bikes themselves?
Common problems are cross-threaded pedals, a loose stabilizer that makes the bike rock and pinched console cables. An assembler can check these and correct them at the hourly rate. Stripped crank threads usually need a replacement part from the manufacturer.
Can you move my exercise bike to another room?
Yes. Moving a bike within the home during the assembly visit is part of hourly time. For a move to a new home, the crew can take it apart and load it into the truck you rent, then rebuild it at the new place at hourly rates.
