Office clean outs are billed hourly, starting at $149/hr for two helpers and $269/hr for four, with a 2-hour minimum. The number of workstations, elevator access and the distance to your dumpster or the curb drive the total.
Can the crew carry out old computers and printers?
Yes. The crew carries computers, monitors, printers and phones out of the suite and sets them aside for your own e-waste recycling, since Rocket Services does not take items away. Wipe or remove hard drives first, since the crew does not provide data destruction. Set aside any leaking batteries or toner containers.
Can an office clean out happen after business hours?
Evening and weekend clean outs can be scheduled, subject to availability and building rules. Crews typically work up to 8 hours or until 7 PM, whichever comes first. Booking two to four weeks ahead helps line up the crew with the building's elevator reservation.
What happens to office furniture that is still in good shape?
Clean, usable furniture like desks, chairs and bookcases is set aside for you to donate or sell. Everything else is carried to your dumpster or the curb. If you plan to sell pieces, tag them before the crew arrives.
