How much does it cost to assemble a pool table?
For non-slate and game tables, Rocket Services bills $129/hr for two assemblers or $179/hr for three, with a one-hour minimum. Stairs past the first flight add $20 each, and pieces over 300 lb need at least 3 helpers, or 4 if there are stairs. Slate tables need a call to confirm the scope first.
Can you reassemble a slate pool table?
Slate tables need shimming, seam filling, cloth stretching and precise leveling, which is specialized work. Call to confirm the scope before booking. The crew can help carry slate pieces and the frame into the room if a table technician is doing the setup.
How much space do I need for a pool table?
You need room for the table plus a full cue stroke on every side. Table makers publish recommended room sizes for each table length, so check that chart before the table arrives. Measure around posts, doorways and stairs too.
Can the crew carry a pool table down to my basement?
Yes, the crew can carry table pieces down stairs. The first flight is included, and each flight after that adds $20. Heavy pieces over 300 lb need at least 3 helpers, or 4 if there are stairs. Share the stair details and table type when you request a quote.
