Labor only: we sort, bag and carry items to your dumpster, curb or donation pile. You arrange the dumpster rental, city bulk pickup or donation pickup. Rocket Services empties self storage units across the Denver Metro and Front Range, sorting what you keep, setting aside what you want to donate and carrying the rest to your dumpster. How much does it cost to clean out a 10x10 storage unit?
Most 10x10 clean outs use two helpers at $149/hr with a 2-hour minimum. A unit packed to the ceiling takes longer than a half-full one. Photos of the unit with the door open help Rocket Services give a free quote.
Do I need to be at the storage unit during the clean out?
Someone has to open the unit and should make keep and discard calls. If you cannot stay, label keep items clearly and hand off to the crew once the unit is open. Labeled items can be handled without you there.
Can the crew load the things I keep into my rental truck?
Yes. The crew can load kept items into your rental truck or container at the unit, and a crew can unload them at your home too. Mention it when you book so kept items load first.
What should I do if my storage unit has water damage or pests?
Tell Rocket Services before booking. The crew can carry out damaged boxes and furniture, but biohazardous waste and contaminated materials are not handled. Call to confirm the scope if the unit has heavy pest activity or mold.
