Why Our Moving Helpers Are Qualified

Insurance, damage coverage and written policies, all in one place.

Before you let anyone carry your dresser down the stairs, you should know who they are. So here it is: our insurance, our damage coverage, how claims work and what we won’t touch. No fine print scavenger hunt.

Coverage on Every Job

Rocket Services carries general liability insurance and workers' comp, and crews are background checked. Damage the crew causes to belongings is covered at $0.60 per pound per item, up to $1,000 per job or the total cost of the job, whichever is less.
Buildings that require proof of coverage before a crew arrives can request a certificate of insurance, which is prepared ahead of the job.

A Written Claims Process

Claims are submitted within 7 days of the service date through the Claims Form. Review takes 7 to 10 business days, and the decision is sent by email.
All claim communication happens in writing at claims@rocketservicesllc.com, so each step is documented.

Crew Work Rules

Crews typically work up to 8 hours or until 9 PM, whichever comes first, and overtime rates apply beyond that. Crews take short paid rest breaks as Colorado law requires, and on jobs over 5 hours, one unpaid 30 to 60 minute meal break that isn't billed.
Customers get a 2-hour arrival window, and the team leader calls on move day with an arrival time.

Items the Crew Will Not Handle

For safety, crews will not handle hazardous materials, flammables, illegal substances or unsealed liquids. Pianos, fine art, antiques, grandfather clocks and items over 400 lb are referred out.
Keep financial documents, car keys, cash, prescription medicine, IDs, passports, birth certificates and high-value jewelry with you on the day. These items are not covered, so keep them in a bag in your own vehicle.

Safes and Heavy Items Up to 400 lb

Gun or home safes and other heavy items are accepted up to a 400 lb limit, set by the crew's stair dolly. Items over 300 lb are quoted with the job. Pianos and anything over 400 lb are referred to a specialty company.
• Share the make and model, or the weight, when booking
• Safes must be emptied and unbolted before the crew arrives
• No spiral staircases
