Rocket Services unpacking starts at $99/hr for one packer or $129/hr for two, with a 2-hour minimum. Mileage is $1 per round-trip mile from the Aurora base, charged from the first mile. A two-bedroom home with a full kitchen usually goes faster with two or three packers working at once.
Can I hire someone just to unpack after I moved myself?
Yes. Unpacking can be booked on its own, even if you drove a rental truck yourself or had a container dropped off. The crew shows up, opens the boxes and puts items away as you direct. It does not need to be tied to Rocket Services loading help.
What does the crew do with the empty boxes and paper?
The crew flattens boxes and bags packing paper so they are stacked in one spot, or carries them to your recycling bin or the curb. Rocket Services does not take cardboard away, so keep the boxes for storage or recycle them.
Do unpackers organize my kitchen or just empty boxes?
They put items where you tell them. The crew unwraps dishes and glassware, stacks them in the cabinets you pick and places pantry goods and small appliances. If you have a layout in mind, share it at the start. The crew follows your plan rather than guessing where things belong.
