Quick answer: every job is unique, but based on our experience the hardest dates to get are the last and first few days of the month, Friday through Sunday, and May through August. Mid-month weekdays and late fall through early spring are the easiest. Book 1 to 2 weeks ahead in general, and 2 to 4 weeks ahead for summer weekends or month-end.

The busiest times, from our experience

  • The last 3 days and first 2 days of the month, when leases end and start.

  • Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

  • May through August, the peak moving season.

  • Mid-May and mid-August near CU Boulder and CSU, when student leases turn over.

  • The weeks around major holidays.

The easiest times to book

  • Tuesday through Thursday in the middle of the month.

  • Late October through early March, with room in the plan for snow.

  • Early morning starts. Crews begin at 7am, so you beat the heat and the traffic.

How to save

  • Pick a mid-month weekday if your lease allows it.

  • Pack and tape every box before the crew arrives.

  • Park the truck or container close to the door.

  • Book the right crew: a bigger crew can cost less overall on a big job.

  • Pay the deposit as soon as you get it; your date isn't held until it's paid.

Short notice?

Same-day help is sometimes possible when a crew is free, for $79 extra. Call or text (720) 336-1661 for the fastest answer.
