How much does it cost to get helpers to load a PODS container in Denver?
Rocket Services helpers start at $149/hr for two with a 2-hour minimum. Mileage is $1 per round-trip mile from the Aurora base, charged from the first mile. The total depends on how much you are loading and how ready the home is.
How long does it take to load a PODS?
With boxes packed and 2 helpers: a studio takes 1 to 2 hours, a 1 bedroom 2 to 3, a 2 bedroom 3 to 4. A 3 bedroom takes 4 to 6 hours with 3 helpers. Loading here and unloading at the other end is about double.
Does Rocket Services rent PODS containers?
No. You rent the container and schedule drop-off and pickup directly with PODS. Rocket Services provides the labor to load and unload. The crew also works with U-Box, U-Pack and Pack-Rat containers if your plans change.
What should be done before the PODS loading crew arrives?
Pack and label boxes by room, clear a path to the container and empty the fridge. Make sure the container sits on level ground with the doors accessible. Set aside valuables and anything you are driving yourself so it does not end up behind a wall of boxes.
