How much does it cost to hire help loading a U-Haul in Denver?
Rocket Services helpers start at $149/hr for two, with a 2-hour minimum. Mileage is $1 per round-trip mile from the Aurora base, charged from the first mile. Stairs add $20 per flight after the first. Having boxes packed and taped before the crew arrives keeps the total down.
Do you drive the U-Haul?
No. You rent the U-Haul and drive it. Our moving helpers load it at the start and can unload it at the other end. We never drive a customer’s truck.
Can helpers load U-Haul pads and dollies I rent?
Yes. If you rent furniture pads and a dolly with the truck, the crew will use them. Labor-only jobs do not include pads unless arranged in advance. Dollies are not brought inside without floor protection, such as floor runners at $49.
Can helpers unload a U-Haul at a different time from loading?
Yes. Loading and unloading can be separate bookings, even on different days, as long as you have the truck. Each visit has its own 2-hour minimum. Book both at once to lock in times. Many people load on a Saturday and unload on Sunday.
